Right in the Centre Point

The tall building that goes out of view on the left is a landmark to us Londoners known as Centre Point. Being the buildings name and written in lights on the top, its an obvious choice for a name. It lies on the just ion that links two of the most famous roads in London. Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street.

Only one more photo left for this week. I’m gonna try and find a goodun’.

Speak to you all tomorrow.

Hungry for an apple on Regent Street

As promised here is the bonus photo for this week. Since loosing my iPhone I bought the new Nokia Lumia 800 Windows phone. I love it to bits but I do miss the iPhone. Windows phone is great and I would recommend it to anyone if they were looking for a simple great phone to use but for me there isn’t enough apps. Granted there is everything you need (or something similar to what you would get on the iPhone) but it just isn’t the same. When the new one come out in the summer (so they say) I will be straight there to get it. Its lucky that I work very close by.

Anyway enjoy the weekend.

Narrow streets of Cadiz

My last photo from Cadiz, Spain now. I had a look at my unprocessed photos and nothing jumps out at me from this town. I guess only time will tell.

I didn’t have long to spend in Cadiz so took a lll my photos on the way to and from the cathedral there. We went there on the transatlantic crossing with Disney Cruise Line who I worked with for 6 months. I miss it but was way too far from reality.

Streets of Villefranche

Villefranche still remains my favorite place that I have visited. Sure I loved being at Castaway Cay or Rome but the French Riviera is something special. Every alleyway looked like this with small expensive cafe’s lining parts of the town.

We had to spend a weeks wages just to get any food which was also hard as noone spoke English. but we clung onto some French friends which helped.

Double Trouble.

I could get lost in the streets of Villefranche for hours and it would be the best time of my life. All of the hillside streets look like this so is an amazing opportunity for any photographer. It was so expensive to buy anything. Even food there was double the price of any other port we visited.

The Colourful Alley

All of the buildings in Rome look like this. Streets are lined with the typical European style that most of us know and love. One of my favorite photos of rome that i have processed so far.

After being in the Caribbean for 3 months we started the journey over to Europe. The Transatlantic crossing was for 14 days, starting at Port Canaveral, Florida. After the customary stop at the Disney Island, Castaway Cay, we didnt see land for 6 days at sea. The first place we went to after was Madeira. We docked in the capital, Funchal which was the main tourist district.

While in the Caribbean I bought the Nikon 1.4 50mm lens. Everything is so cheap there its great! I walked around Key West alone with the lens to force me to try new things. Its my new love.

The last one of the night

Looking down onto St Paul’s Cathedral

A great place to sit, enjoying the surroundings.

The National Theatre is such a great building

Southbank is full of wonders

I had never been down there before. It was a great design.
