Narrow streets of Cadiz

My last photo from Cadiz, Spain now. I had a look at my unprocessed photos and nothing jumps out at me from this town. I guess only time will tell.

I didn’t have long to spend in Cadiz so took a lll my photos on the way to and from the cathedral there. We went there on the transatlantic crossing with Disney Cruise Line who I worked with for 6 months. I miss it but was way too far from reality.

Happy New Year Everyone

Ok first things first, Happy new year everyone! I hope you had an eventful new years. Mine consisted of working into the early hours but I did get a front row seat on a Thames boat for the London fireworks. I had never seen the fireworks in person so it was a great sight. Between that and taken me over 3 hours to get home (normally 45 minutes) I had a great time.

Now I guess its the time of year to think of resolutions not to keep (although I fully intend to this year… as always). I want to travel more around the country. I haven’t really travelled outside London in the UK although I have been lucky enough to visit many places abroad. My UK travel record is terrible so first on my list is Wales. It has a great coastline and many national parks that will keep me busy for way more then a week.

Here is a place that we haven’t visited in a while. Key West never had a great sky for photos. No clouds were ever in the sky which might seem perfect for some propel not not for us photographers. I never tried surfing although I think I would be terrible at it.

A Disney Paradise

Who ever knew that it was so hard to post a video. Due to copyright issues to the soundtrack from torn in my time-lapse, some countries are not able to view it. I had to post it on a different sight that you can see here.

Right now onto todays photo. Another from Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. This jetty is just as you get off the ship on the way to the main part of the resort. You can see the typical Bahamian sky as great as ever.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Lights upon St Pauls

Recently the sky in London has always been red. In the past I have seen a multiple of colours including purple and once a green tone. I don’t know if its the Autumn season that has done this but I haven’t seen any other colour in a while.

The lights on St Paul’s were brighter for some reason on this night so you can see them lighting up the dome in the distance.

Wandering Around Deck 10

I have so many photos of the ship that I don’t know if I should post them all. They are full of colours that only Disney could pull off.

A Sight that Amazed Me

As soon as we got off the tender in Villefranche, France this was the sight that greeted us. I was amazed by the colours and atmosphere of the place. I rused out my camera and started clicking away straight away. I took so many pictures by the water front and the view never got old every time we arrived there.

Another from Barcelona now. The Gaudi bench is the longest bench in the world, which I have mentioned before. Luckily the bench was being painstakingly restored by hand as each of the tiles are being painted. I say luckily because the area is usually packed with tourists but a section had been roped off. This allowed me to get an image without anyone sitting on it.

The Charing Cross Bridge

Also known as the Hungerford Bridge, it links Charing Cross to Waterloo station across the Thames. I work right next to this landmark directly next to the London Eye.

The Mice guarding the castle

Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Florida.

I am going to start post a daily photo. I have been meaning to start this for a while but have been very busy. Hopefully it will enable me to sort out many more images, forcing me to process as many as i can.

Spying on the Rock.

We went back to the UK for 1 day on the cruise… well sorta. We had a stop at Gibraltar while on the transatlantic crossing. It it very similar to the UK that I know and love just better weather and alot of spanish speaking. Us English folk on board used are time to get lots of English chocolate from english shops. It didnt last long when we were back onboard though.

This Photo was taken at the top of the famous Rock of Gibraltar. I spent the day up there working, taking photos of all the Disney Guests.

After being in the Caribbean for 3 months we started the journey over to Europe. The Transatlantic crossing was for 14 days, starting at Port Canaveral, Florida. After the customary stop at the Disney Island, Castaway Cay, we didnt see land for 6 days at sea. The first place we went to after was Madeira. We docked in the capital, Funchal which was the main tourist district.

The first time we went to St Thomas a storm was just settling in. We still went to the beach though. How could we not?

St Maartin was the first stop on the Eastern Caribbean cruise. It was the port where you could buy everything electrical for really cheap prices. I bough a canon S95 and my Nikon 50mm 1.4 lens but wanted to buy alot more.

When processing this image I found a guy sleeping under the bush on the left. He was a big surprise but what can I say; the Caribbean is very relaxed.

I miss the crew beach. I he highlight of each time there was getting cookies to eat from the restaurant. A simple guilty pleasure I know.
