Narrow streets of Cadiz

My last photo from Cadiz, Spain now. I had a look at my unprocessed photos and nothing jumps out at me from this town. I guess only time will tell.

I didn’t have long to spend in Cadiz so took a lll my photos on the way to and from the cathedral there. We went there on the transatlantic crossing with Disney Cruise Line who I worked with for 6 months. I miss it but was way too far from reality.

Allies in Villefranche

Villefranche takes on the stereotypical view of Europe. The narrow alleys, small coffee shops and people who don’t speak a word of English. That meant it was hard to get what you wanted in restaurants. Unfortunately my GCSE french isn’t what it used to be but I made do… just.

It took me ages to get back to the ship after getting lost if the maze of streets. I made it  with 10 minutes to spare till my shift started thanks to the short boat ride.

Double Trouble.

I could get lost in the streets of Villefranche for hours and it would be the best time of my life. All of the hillside streets look like this so is an amazing opportunity for any photographer. It was so expensive to buy anything. Even food there was double the price of any other port we visited.

We saw some steps going up a wall of the marina. We went up in curiosity and found this the other side. There was lots of coastal protection features in the area. Concrete structures stop the sea from eroding the small island any more then it already has.

I walked forever around the narrow streets and come across some great things. I wish I had more time to explore to find more things like this.

I would love to live on this
