Narrow streets of Cadiz

My last photo from Cadiz, Spain now. I had a look at my unprocessed photos and nothing jumps out at me from this town. I guess only time will tell.

I didn’t have long to spend in Cadiz so took a lll my photos on the way to and from the cathedral there. We went there on the transatlantic crossing with Disney Cruise Line who I worked with for 6 months. I miss it but was way too far from reality.

This is a photo from inside the Cathedral in Cadiz, Spain. I have no idea what the name of the cathedral is and there was no sign while I was there. Even the trusty Wikipedia didn’t tell me, although I did find this extract below.

One of Cadiz’s most famous landmarks is its cathedral. It sits on the site of an older cathedral, completed in 1260, which burned down in 1596. The reconstruction, which was not started until 1776, was supervised by the architect Vicente Acero. This Baroque-style cathedral was built over a period of 116 years, and, due to this drawn-out period of construction, the cathedral underwent several major changes to its original design.

Still on the Transatlantic crossing, on final stop before we hit barcelona. We were at Cadiz, Spain but didnt have long off as usual. we went walking arounf the town where some people i was with had been before. He showed us to the cathedral which was really nice.

After getting some food, a usual tradition everytime we got off the ship, we went inside. I am used to going into European churches and cathedrals as I studied Architecture but that made this Cathedral even more spectacular.
