The Mystery Cardinal Building http://bit.ly/JeZaam

Narrow streets of Cadiz

My last photo from Cadiz, Spain now. I had a look at my unprocessed photos and nothing jumps out at me from this town. I guess only time will tell.

I didn’t have long to spend in Cadiz so took a lll my photos on the way to and from the cathedral there. We went there on the transatlantic crossing with Disney Cruise Line who I worked with for 6 months. I miss it but was way too far from reality.

St Paul’s and ME! I went on a photowalk last week with a fellow photographer Murphyz and one of his photographer work mates. We started off in Leicester square but inspiration was hard to find in the busy streets. We headed to the usual photographers haven of the Thames and are juices started flowing.

It wasn’t a good sunset at all so we really got going when darkness fell. We walked along the Thames pathway and over the Millennium Bridge. We found a little place to take photos of St Paul’s Cathedral and while the others were busying themselves I decided to do a montage of me in front of the cathedral.

I have never done one of these and my life would of been so much easier with a DSLR remote like Murphyz has for his montages. I set my interval timer and would run into position, most of the time ending with a blurry first frame. I persisted and created this image.

The corner of the National Theatre.

The national theatre is one of my favorite buildings in London and I must have taken so many pictures of it. It is full of little architectural details that makes a building so impressive.

We finally reached our home port for Europe, Barcelona.

After a very long transatlantic we reached my favorite city. I have been to Barcelona before and had always wanted to go back so i was very happy. We would come back every 10-11 days so I would get plenty of chances to explore all the little alleyways.

You can get lost in the gothic quarter as there is so many little nooks and crannies to explore. I found this graffitied section of a building site down one of these streets.

Same building, different view. The reflections in the glass are intense.

The entrance of the same building

You can see the Gurkin (official name 30 MSt Mary’s Axe) from everywhere around but up close it looks amazing,

Gurkin Sunset

You can see so much in this view over london. Obviously the Thames and the Oxo Tower, but in the background lies St Pauls Cathedral but also the building nicknamed the Gurkin, 30 st Marys Axe.

It was busy in during rush hour but so peaceful in the sky- HDR

Overgrown House HDR- I have no idea what is in this building. It looks really interesting but there was no information about it anywhere.
